    Das "RC" in der Modellbezeichnung steht für "radio control" und meint den eingebauten Infrarotempfänger für die als Sonderzubehör lieferbare Fernbedienung Dual RC 50.  Phonoeingänge für Magnetsysteme und MC (Moving Coil) Tonabnehmer,, Anschlußklemmen für 2 Lautsprecherpaare.

    Ein zeitgenössischer Test "Stereo 6/88" ergab die zweitbeste Einstufung "Spitzenklasse" (statt absoluter Spitzenklasse) und Sinusleistungen (DIN) von 2 x 225 Watt an 4 Ω, bzw 2 x 140 Watt an 8 Ω.
