  • Shape
  • Tablemodel, with any shape - general.
  • Notes
  • Very similar to model RG2501.2, the difference is in the input stage that uses a 6Y7G tube.

Predecessor of model RG 2501.2, the difference is in the input, model 2501 has only one input connector, while model 2501.2 has two separate connectors for phono and microphone.

There are two schematics of this amplifier.

The first is reported in "L'Audiolibro" by D.E. Ravalico, Hoepli, Milano 1952.

The second is from "Il manuale del Radiomeccanico" by G.B. Angeletti.

The first schematic contains an error, the input tube is indicated as 6Y7G instead of 6J7G.

6Y7G is an output double triode while 6J7G is a penthode.

The correct tube for this model is 6J7G.
