  • Together with the S504 the 506 is one of the first post war radios built by Eddystone. The 506 is a military communications receiver for 500 kHz to 30 MHz in 5 ranges and came later onto the surplus market. Has it the same valves than S504? AM, CW(BFO), Crystal Filter and 2 stage RF (gain adjustable), Db meter. High quality 10 valve circuit. Solid cast aluminium front in steel case. Drift free reception by building in case with big proportions.
