  • The EICO 706A is the upgraded model of the EICO 706. The speaker and speaker trim were updated and the headphone jack changed to a 1/8 inch mini headphone size. The 706A was apparently also sold by the manufacturer to other private label entities. (for example see Transistor Code Oscillator)
    Per catalog description, current drain for the light is 300 mA and for the oscillator is 40 mA (340 mA for both). Tone frequency is continously variable from approximately 500 to 2000 Hz.
