    Note: Eilen Radio Laboratories advertisement in the November 1936 Short Craft shows the BS-5 without the K42A tube. The December 1936 issue of Short Wave Craft has an article by Guy Stokely on the BS-5, as well as an advertisement, both showing the K42A tube.
