    When not measuring temperature, meter pointer indicates room temperature (set by pointer setting ambient screw).

    No batteries used for operation in order to avoid sparks (and possible explosions).

    The uploaded catalog page 36 reveals the existence of at least 8 more models (NMP 02, 06, 10, 15, 52, 56, 60 and 65, for other temperature ranges), with a case of reinforced ABS and consequently slightly lower weight (0,616 kg) and an accuracy of 1% of full scale.
