Notes

SAMS Photofact, date 4-57, set 353, folder 5 features the Emerson models 844 Ch= 120309 and 847 Ch= 120328 as the same schematic.

Emerson provided terminals for two (2) 9-volt batteries (large Eveready #276 batteries) but informed the listener, on the interior label, that the radio will work with just one battery instead of two.   This radio does indeed play very well with one battery.  Civil Defense marks found on station dial.
