  • Notes
NORA verwendete keine geschraubten Bananenbuchsen, sondern genietete.

    English Text:
All NORA wooden cases are painted black, this is not!
The 5pin plug-in coil  never belongs to a Crystal set. It is a Neutrodyne RF transformer.
But the coupler is for an english/american coil with pin+socket. This is very unusual for a Germany Manufacturer, in particular NORA never used such coils. The coil base is modified to fie the socket.
The top panel is rather coarse and put on top of the original panel. Obviously to hide what was originally forseen, and to mount the Neutrodyne coil.
The maker of that coil, Budich, never cooperated with NORA. Budich produced Radio Components. NORA fixed the panel in the corners into square corner parts but not into the box walls. NORA used riveted telephone jacks, not screwed ones.
The case is made from hard wood, rather thick for the pretended time and maker, and the sharp edges and corners are not NORA styleThe NORA Escutcheon was intentionally attached to upgrade the bricolage.
That is FRAUD, maybe even produced in small series..
Perhaps made from a "real" set, modified with the upper panel  and the holder to apply the coils plus a NORA escutcheon.
