  • The Fairbanks Morse 9AC-5 is an AC operated, 9 tube BC and SW band receiver. Has dual drive high and low speed tuning using 100:1 and 20:1 ratio's with silent tuning between stations.

    Band Frequency Ranges are as follows:
    BC Band......................530 - 1700kHz
    Police Band.................1.62 - 5.5MHz
    SW Band.....................5.4 - 18.2MHz

    NOTE: 9A is the chassis number and NOT the model number.

    NOTE: Production changes were made to the 9A chassis and are documented in the changes section of Riders volume 10, page 10-1.
