  • The General Radio Random Noise Generator 1390-B provides high levels of electrical noise over three selectable ranges, 20 kHz, 500 kHz and 5 MHz. The generator uses as noise source a gas tube, type 6D4, operating in a transverse magnetic field.

    The circuit also uses a 3-4 current regulator tube, and a 115NO30T relay tube.
