An AC mains 3 band table radio housed in a bakelite cabinet. With flywheel tuning, piano key waveband switching and tone control (above the dial). Provision for gramophone pickup and external loudspeaker. Released October 1947. The GEC BC4850L model is similar with different mains voltage options. The GEC BC4855 is the AC/DC mains version.
