- Introduced in March 1933. This radio is made to be mounted under the dashboard of a car. There are 4 versions of this radio and are designated Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 (116A). Types 1 through 3 have serial numbers between 10,001 and 16,036. Type 1 matches schematic #175-A and was the first set that left the factory.
