Hello, I have recently acquired this Grundig RT4 A transformer via Ebay Germany. The ampere meter never worked and now, after having used  a few times, it has stopped working. What happens is: I turn it on with nothing attached yet.  It doesnt turn on and each time I find that the 4Amp slow blow fuse has blown immediately.

What can be wrong?

And :  The coil tap on the transformer is by Schunterman und Benninghoven from Hilden, Germany. Is this the original part?  It says 1,2 amp which worries me...

Any ideas???

Deutsch:  Das Trafo habe ich seit einer Woche und es hat bis auf das Ampere instrument funktioniert.  Heute aber geht nichts mehr. Dioe Sicherung ist immer wieder kaputt.

Was kann los sein ?

 

Aus dem Trafo ist Aufkleber vom Hersteller 'Schunterman und Benninghoven aus Hilden' Ist das das original Teil???  Und es steht drauf 1,2 amp ist das richtig?
