• This model is the table version of the portable RP79 Consort and was one of the last models produced by Hacker Sound before a fire destroyed the factory in 1979/80 and the company went out of business. It has a sealed tuner unit which uses transistors, an IF board which uses five BF194A transistors and an audio board which uses one BC149 transistor and one TBA820 audio IC. The radio contains two speakers (one at each side of the cabinet), which are wired in series.
