The Haynes " Viceiver " is a complete television receiver for sound and vision reception, medium and long wave reception, and gramophone. Direct viewing is adopted. The cabinet is built in three sections, the side compartments carrying radio and gramophone equipment and being of less depth than the centre section, which houses the cathode-ray tube apparatus and loudspeaker. (The cathode-ray tube has a 12 in. diameter screen and is scanned magnetically. The 12-valve vision and synchronising receiver is totally enclosed in an entirely screened unit and has a single limited-range tuning control.
Television apparatus in unit form is available separately.
