  • The Heathkit W-VP-1-12 was designed to power the CB-1 or any of the "Lunchbox" Heathkit amateur transceivers (Twoer, Tener, and Sixer). It provides 260 volts DC, 60 mA max. The power supply was short-lived and Heathkit quickly followed up in mid 1961 with the GP-11 which used silicon diode rectifiers in place of the 12X4 (or the 6X4 in the 6 volt equivalent model W-VP-1-6). The vibrator was designed for 12 volts (or 6 volts for the equivalent W-VP-1-6).
