  • His Master's Voice SB67

Since His Master's Voice introduced Spread Band Tuning 5 years ago, radio science has marched on. Today, H.M.V. offers you Perfected Spread Band Tuning the greatest step forward in radio since the loudspeaker replaced earphones. Simple, speedy, and sure, it makes tuning shortwave as easy as broadcast.. H.M.V. Spread Band isn't merely a matter of bigger dials or more tuning bands, it's a difference in circuit design that ends guesswork, prevents overlapping of stations, and gives scientific exactness in tuning... Instead of one shortwave band you have four. Stations are spread 30 times further apart. Literally, you can tune in New York as easily as you can 2YA.

Two-toned veneers and inclined dial contribute to the sparkling appearance of this 5-Valve H.M.V. Spread Band Model. In performance and in tone it attains H.M.V.'s highest standards and it's the lowest-priced fully calibrated Spread Band model you can buy. £28-10-0.
