  • Notes
  • The "Disneyland" model 11 Junior Juke Box by Hudson Electronics Corp is unusual in that Disneyland itself was nothing more than a dream when this unit was manufactured in 1952. The site for Disneyland was selected in 1953, construction began in 1954, and the park opened in July 1955.

This children's record player is 78 RPM only. A 120 VAC low wattage light bulb inside the cabinet faintly illuminates the Disney characters, which are made of pressed and painted translucent plastic sheet material, mounted from the inside in holes in the cabinet.

The amplifier uses a single 117N7GT tube, which contains a single wave rectifier and beam power tube in a common envelope. The phonograph pickup was made by Webster Electric, and has a screw-type clamp for replaceable needles.
