This is an unusual mini-cathedral radio with a chassis that appears to be identical to the Jewel, Gabertone, and Steinite Cathedral models. Three of the tube sockets are factory-labeled for model 224 tubes, but only one actually holds a model 24A tube, so perhaps the manufacturer utilized spare parts to construct the chassis. The escutcheon is clearly marked "JEFFERSON", but there is no record of a manufacturer by this name building mini-cathedral radios in the early 1930's.
