  • The SAMS Photofact folder 3/47, 475-14 shows the same schematic for the models 500A, 500B, 500C, 501A, 501B, 501C, 502A, 502B, 502C, 503A, 503B, 503C, 504A, 504B, 504C, 505A, 505B, 505C. The letter suffix tells us the tubes: A = 12SA7 (Converter), 12SK7 (IF Amp.), 12SQ7 (Det.-AVC-AF) and 50L6GT (power output). B = 14Q7, 14A7 or 12B7, 14B6 and 50A5 and C = 12BE6, 12BA6, 12AT6 and 50B5. The last number indicates the cabinet. We can be sure of the model 501, 502 and 504, because they are shown on the Photofact sheet. We are not sure about the 505 "Pin-up" clock radio - but they are listed - without a trace for a clock.
