Gramophone with Harmonic Strings

Klingsor gramophone, circa 1912. Although the current owners do not seem enthusiastic about the strings (and it is not even clear how they were supposed to be tuned), the Klingsor sold widely in its time and was available in many sizes and with different cabinet styles. Some were coin operated and there were also some with dancing figurines in a recess under the trumpet.

Grammofono Klingsor, 1912 circa. Benchè gli attuali proprietari non sembrino entusiasti delle corde (e non si sa neanche bene come dovessero essere accordate), il Klingsor ebbe ai suoi tempi ampie vendite e fu disponibile in molti formati e con mobili di stili diversi. Alcuni erano azionati a moneta e ve n'erano anche con figurine danzanti in un incavo sotto la tromba.
