Körting Excello Stereo 23621 is a typical table radio from 1963 with having diodes for the ratiodetector. The ferrite rod can be rotated by a knob on the front. Most probably it has 4 loudspeakers - and the usual problem with the small electrical currents through the circuit board, leading to positive voltage on the grid of the output pentode due to the early pertinax (pressed paper) board. The heat of the output tubes burn pertinax a little bit and the resulting carbon begins to conduct - only in the reach of Mega-Ohms but enough to rise the grid voltage - and after some minutes the sound will be distorted.
