Kriesler Model 41-24 "Playway"

BC personal portable having six transistors and two germanium diodes. Housed in plastic, leatherette covered cabinet with detachable carrying strap. Finish: gold-plated, set with diamente jewels; pigskin, tan or red, in gift box.

Features: Ferrite rod aerial. Socket for earpiece or extension speaker. Operates from one Eveready Type 2162 (9V) battery. Interchangable dial scales for States.

Both the 41-24 and the 41-26 (Playboy) use the 89-2 chassis. The 41-24 has a “Leatherette” covered plastic case whereas the 41-26 is vinyl covered.  They came with an earphone and a carry strap but no carry case. Price is with battery.
