  • Notes
  • The tester is used to determine the efficiency (emission) of all current European and American radio tubes. In the front end there are four special holes provided for placing of extra radio tube sockets. The reading is done by means of a highly sensitive moving coil meter.

The special neon tube is similar to the Philips GL42M, however, the
operating voltage is 110V and the elements consisted of a metal ring
surrounding a metal disc. The tube is used as an indicator for continuity
test of the filament and short circuit test between the elements of the radio tube.
Depending on the test just glows the metal ring, the disc, or both.

The emission current can be adjusted according to the specifications of the radio tube.
The original cards of the tube tester are missing but the tube to be tested can be very easily tested by setting the tubetester according to the specifications of the tube.
