15 watt Amplifier 128-A

The model 128A has many of the outstanding features of other more expensive models such as: high gain of 125 db permitting the use of low level microphones of either the velocity or sound cell types, gain and tone controls, low gain and high gain inputs, class "A" amplification, fused power line, 16 watts of field supply for speaker fields, variable output impedances, plug-in input and output connections, etc. Its frequency response is within 2 db from 50 to 10,000 cycles. The power output of 15 watts (peak 20 watts) makes the 128A an ideal unit for the majority of installations. The field supply of 16 watts can be used for one 10,000 ohm field or can be divided between two 5,000 oh m fields (8 watts each). Where 4 watts per field is suficient, 4 fields of 2500 ohms each can be used. A low gain input connection assures maximum performance when used with phono-pickups and radio tuners.
