  • The Lafayette model 20 Tru Test 5 tube Midget has a "smooth operating drum dial which is calibrated in kilocycles. It uses a Loftin-White circuit, 3 sreen grid tubes, pentode output and a Rola dynamic speaker. The "Radio Collector's Guide 1921-1932" from Morgan E. McMahon shows on page 262/263 (for 1931/32) a model "5 tube Tru-Test" for $ 16.50. We have no indication that it is this one - but it would be this one.

This model is sold as mantel cabinet (cathedral type) with a Lafayette price $ 15.50 less tubes and a tube set is additional $ 4.65. For additional $ 2.25 the set is operational on 220 volts AC. See details or summaries about this catalog.
