  • Notes
  • Lafayette leads again! The new all-metal tube, type 6L6. which makes use of the "beam type electronic stream, has been incorporated in this new 25-watt all-metal tube amplifier-the first available amplifier to make use of this remarkable new development. Designed to serve as a power output tube, it concentrates the cathode emission into electronic "beams" which result in greater output, less harmonic distortion, and higher efficiency, than previously obtainable.

The entire amplifier is designed so as to facilitate and simplify installation. It can be operated by anyone. Two 6-prong plug-in sockets on the rear of the chassis are provided for quick and easy connection of the loud speakers; each socket also supplies 110 volts ac. for each speaker. All input terminals are shielded and the output terminals are in the form of convenient tip-jacks.

Model 262- A Lafayette 25-watt metal tube amplifier less tubes and protective screen.
