  • Rider's volume 5-5 is listing the 10-tube-Battery "Super-Het" Lafayette B-60 with RF stage, which tunes with an increased wavelength rate from 530 to 1750 kc (165 - 565 m). The plan dates from August 1933. The B-60 has an AVC and an instrument tuning meter. One tube 30 is used as a diode as 2nd detector. The instrument is not given on Rider's plan. The chassis measures 13.125" x 10" (hight) x 9.125" and is cadmium plated. The console low boy is 6 legged. We do not count the 10AB ballast tube and see this as a 9-tube model with push-pull output.
