  • The catalog names this Lafayette model C-78 Air Navigator for domestic use with the bands 17.5 - 53 m, 75 - 200 m and 200 to 560 m broadcast and C-78L Air Navigator for European long wave band instead of the 75 - 200 m band. It is named a 7 AC/DC Super-Het but we don't count the ballast tube Amperite 3-40. They have a mantel cabinet 3 wave bands, Automatic Volume Control (AVC) and a large full illuminated airplane dial. C-78 and C-78L are also available for 220 AC operation for an addl. $ 1.00.
