This model is very likely a fake:

    • it uses two different shapes (cuts) of variable condenser plates (round up until 1925, frequency linear logarithmic cut later)
    • it uses three different types of variable condensers
    • all stickers are printed on paper and appear to have been made to look old
    • it has a cardboard back cover, something not done until maybe mid-1930s - including the clamps for holding it, which are absolutely untypical
    • knobs, connectors, inscriptions don't match and appear out-of-place
    • an ampere-meter up to 2A doesn't make sense for a receiver of this kind
    • lots of different fonts are used for the alleged model / company name Mathaphone
