  • Notes
  • The model Meloman M120, made by Unitra Fonica in £ódŸ, Poland, is the first Jukebox model of this manufacturer. We don't know if there were M-120 and M-120-M HiFi as separate models or just a short and long name for the same. It must have been made 1964 or before since one was located in Café Otdych, Tverskaya ulitsa (= Gor'kogo ulitsa), Moscow by 1964. Gert Almind has sent us the picture from there with his text: "This was the first time the people in Moscow could 'pay to play', and hear popular hits (even a few from the West)."
