  • This is a clock radio with FM and AM bands, two alarms, and sleep mode. The FM band covers from 88 to 108 MHz, and the AM band from 540 to 1600 kHz accordingly to the dial scale lettering.

    Other features are the automatic display dimming under low light condition (the light sensor is visible at the front), and the use of an illuminated dial scale pointer (a red LED is attached to the pointer).

    Brief technical details

    There are three PCB assemblies. The Receiver PCB uses a U416B-2B TFK  AM/FM radio IC (IC1) by AEG-Telefunken, a TBA820M IC (IC3) 1.2W audio amplifier, three 9018 and one 9014 NPN transistors by Motorola.The Clock & Power PCB uses a TMS3459BNL Digital Clock IC (IC2), a TKC-6221HEN 4-digit 7-segment LED Display, three 9014 and one 8050 NPN transistors by Motorola.
