The MMT 1296/144 transverter, completely in solid state, is a linear transverter which, coupled to a 144 MHz transceiver, constitutes a highly reliable 1296 MHz transceiver.
The apparatus consists of two parts:
1) MMK 1296/144 converter receiver incorporating the MMA 1296 preamplifier.
2) Frequency conversion transmitter with a final power stage.Characteristics:
- Frequency coverage: 1296 - 1298 MHz
- Input frequency: 144 - 146 MHz.
- Local oscillator: 96 MHz
- Emission systems: SSB - FM - AM - CW
- Input power for max output : 5 - 500 mW or 10 W with 15 dB attenuator.
- RX and TX impedance: 50 Ω.
- Output power: 1.3 W continuous (2.6 pep)
- Converter gain: 25 dB
Built in a diecast case. Only a few transistors are listed, one per type.
