  • Notes
  • The RC2 was equipped with a duplex vario-coupler. Two separate hardwood rings, 7 inches in diameter, are employed, each containing primary and secondary windings. These rings are stationary and placed inductively to each other. Both primaries as well as secondaries are connected in series and are of equal capacities. The first primary has fourteen more terminals than the second one, permitting a more gradual and most accurate tuning. Both coils are wound with No. 32 double silk covered copper wire. The combination of the duplex vario-coupler equals the variation of the ordinary loose coupler and wonderful results have been obtained. Wave Length capacity of this instrument is 6,500 meters. There are six terminals on the front panel. Antennae, ground, detector pair and headphones pair.
