  • Wireless set No. 2: Short / medium range transceiver covering 1,875 - 5 MHz in two ranges, AM (A3), CW (A1), pout 7 Watt telephony, 10 Watt CW;
    powered by 12 V accumulator for heaters and rotary transformer for 1100 V HT and 150 grid bias, vertical rod antenna, roof aerial on lorry, dipole antenna, windom antenna;
    used by British Army for short - medium range communications between division and brigade, operated on Morris 6 wheeled truck or as separate ground station;
    the set covered the same wavelengths as earlier "MA" / "MB" sets, around 50 sets made, soon replaced by more successful Wireless Set No. 9.
