• Voltage indicator device, part of the Maintenance Equipment ME-40 used mainly to align the SCR-300 (BC-1000) transceiver. Uses the 6E5 (VT-215) tube to indicate voltages by the size of the shadow that appears on the fluorescent screen of the tube. The indicator is used to indicate voltages and resistances, and to test continuity. Input resistance: 6 megohms. Voltage indicator - three ranges: 4.5, 6 and 30 volts. Resistance - continuity test: Indication obtained between two points that have a resistance of less than 50K. Power supplied by a BA-39 (or BA-70 - adapter cable CD-1016 required) dry battery.
