• 2 supplys for voltages: 1.35, 6, 6.5, 105, 525 V and 1.35 & 100 V, Lewyt corp. known as manufacturer. PE-237 is the vehicular power supply unit to feed the BC-1306 radio-set, often used in a Jeep. The 525 volts section is a heavy duty vibrator system, with a 1006 rectifier-tube. The 105 volts section is also a vibrator system with a 1005 rectifier The top cover is held in place by 4 metal clamps to make the unit water-tight. Later on the PE-237 was also used to feed the RT-77/GRC-9. Around 1955 it became obsolete and it was superseded by the DY-88 power supply unit, with a weight of only 35 lbs.
