- The S. W. Mills Long Distance Receiver was a completely assembled un-wired kit. The receiver covered the 200 to 600 meters wavelength range. Small companies trying to cash in on the booming radio market in the early 1920's would sometimes offer un-wired kits that the user could wire as a regenerative receiver thus circumventing the Armstrong regenerative patent.
