Von Mitsubishi stammt dieses Originalmodell. Dann wurden Teile / kits in die DDR geliefert sowie an einen Hersteller in  Hong Kong gegen Lizenzgebühren an Pierre Cardin.
Später legt Mitsubishi keinen Wert mehr auf das Modell und Kopien unter diversen Namen wurden vertrieben. Siehe Stern-Club.
