  • A battery powered portable eight transistor radio covering the MW (187-565 metres or 187-570 metres) and LW (1070-1900 metres) bands, and Bandspread covering the high frequency end of MW (192-210 metres).  When the 'CAR AE.' push button is pressed down, separate screened aerial tuning coils are used with a car aerial. Sockets for car aerial and earphone. Elliptical loudspeaker 8 x 5 inch. Price in 1966 £14 9s 7d plus purchase tax.

    The later Murphy B815A is similar, but with minor circuit changes including different output transistors and is medium grey in colour.
