A Stereo pre-amplifier similar to the earlier NAD 1020 Series 20 Stereo Preamplifier with additional MC cartridge input and a Mono button instead of Audio Muting. The later NAD 1020B Stereo Preamplifier is also similar.
With RCA input sockets for Phono (MM or MC), Tuner and Aux, input/output RCA sockets and DIN socket for Tape, a Phono MM/MC selector switch and a phono Capacitance Selector switch (100pF, 200pF, 320pF). Output sockets for Pre-out and High-Level Pre-Out. Some models have three AC outlets and some have a voltage selector.
Rotary controls for Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume, push buttons for Power, input selection (Aux, Tuner, Phono, Tape), Mono and Loudness. Power On pilot light and jack for headphones. Rack mount handles are an optional extra.
