The RF-3030 was available in two variations with an adaptor to provide AC power and another speaker for stereo reproduction.
- Combination Model R-30301 with RD-30302 providing 60 Hz, 120 VAC.
- Combination Model R-30301B with RD-30302B providing 50-60 Hz 115/200/220/240 VAC.
Versatility is the keyword in describing this complete stereo recorder-radio.
Uses 6 “D” size batteries included, operates on your AC outlet, or works from your car or boat with optional cord. The two units allow complete separation of the twin 5" PM speakers for the best stereo reproduction. Records from the radio or microphone. 3 band receiver covers regular Broadcast, FM, and FM stereo, and the International Short-Wave bands. The radio features integrated circuitry, a lighted slide rule dial, fine tuning, and continuous tone control. Recorder features push button operation, Easy-Matic automatic recording volume level, auto stop at end of cassette, fast forward and rewind, and sound monitor system. All solid state, has 2 input jacks for the microphone, 2 for Aux. Output jack for earphones or an external speaker.
Meter operates for FM stereo, AM-SW signal strength, and recording level indications. Fold together styling and cassette storage for complete portability. Black with silver trim. Supplied with a microphone, personal earphones, a cassette, and batteries.The radio physically clips to an external adaptor RD-30302 containing a loudspeaker and an appropriate power supply unit
