I have bought a nice and new in box DR49.My feeling is that the sound could be better. So I have replaced the stock speaker by a dual cone Visaton FR10.(100mm dia full range loudspeaker).

Now the sound is crisp and clear, particularly on FM band.

This set is stable and very sensitive on SW.
