National Model RS-755 Tape Recorder

Vertical AC operated four-track two-speed stereophonic tape recorder, in two separate pieces, one holding the tape recorder with two built-in speakers, the other holding two separate speakers. In wooden vinyl covered cases.

Features: All transistorised amplifier and automatic shut-off device. Two VU meters and separate volume controls and tone controls. Other features are index counter, fast forward and pause controls. The separate speaker system for better stereophonic reception is housed in the separate box and can be taken apart so that each speaker can be placed separately. These speakers are 7" round PM dynamic.

Specifications: power source, AC with a power consumption of 30W and a rated output of 1.3W x 2 in stereo and 2.6W monaural.

Recording system, AC bias 50 kC/s (kHz) and AC
erasure system. Speakers, 6" x 4" oval, each channel PM dynamic. Frequency response,
60 - 15,000 C/s (hZ) at 7½ ips and 60 - 8,000 C/s (hz) at 3¾ ips.
