  • Notes
  • The Patterson 129 is an AC operated 12 tube console with the Model 127A chassis and speaker. It had four bands covering 15 to 550 meters, with an optional band covering 750 to 2300 meters. It is equipped with a tuning eye tube. It was advertised as being "climate proof," with all transformers, coils, and condensers (capacitors) vacuum impregnated. A high fidelity switch broadens the response curves of the intermediate frequency transformers. It has a "Magic Beacon" for locating stations too weak to come in properly.

A 1937 Patterson brochure calls out the use of all "G" tubes (6K7G, 6L7G, etc..) used in this model, but Riders lists only the rectifier as a G tube.
