  • This model appears in a list compiled by John Stokes during his research into the history of New Zealand radio.

    There are many US models 1938 to 1940 using the same case moulding (examples 40-90CB, PT-30 Transitone, TH-3 Transitone, 38-14CB and more) but they are different chassis and tubes. See also the 200 in the same case, but a different chassis with tube line up the same as many US Philco (but not same chassis /tube line up as the models listed here!)

    The All-Wave UK Philco A3626 has the same tubes as has the MW(BC) only NZ HMV Little Nipper 495BC.
