  • This radio is a modification of the PHILCO 45C model.

    The cabinet is the same, but the 245E model has LW, MW and SW bands,and the 45C model has only MW, SW.

    The Philco 45C is 115V AC.
    The Philco 245 has 3 power transformer options.  It uses 78 tubes in the IF.
    The 245E is 230V AC and uses 39/44 tubes in the IF.
