The Philco model 37-624 series (1936-37) are 6-tube 3-band 6 VDC farm radios similar in design to the earlier 624 series (1935-36), updated to use octal tubes. B+ voltage is generated by a vibrator power supply. Band coverage is BC, 2.3-7.4 MHz, and 7.35-22 MHz.
There are two models in the series with different cabinet styles. Model 37-624B is a tombstone, and 37-624J is a console.
