  • The Philco Model G-1706S is an AC operated 4 Tube Phono Amplifier and a 4 Speed Record Changer. Uses Record Changer M-41 with speeds of 16-2/3, 33-1/3, 45 and 78 RPM. This model has Qty(1) 10" PM woofer and Qty(1) type "S" electrostatic speaker. Cabinet is Blonde, Mahogany or Walnut. The G-1706S is similar to the G-1706 except the function switch has a stereo position and the M-41 record changer has a stereo cartridge. Adding the separate Philco model SA-1500 (Slave amplifier and speakers) completed other stereo channel.
