  • An AC mains three band AM table radio covering MW (176.4-545.4 metres), LW (937.5-2000 metres) and SW (16.6-52.6 metres) housed in the same cabinet as the earlier Philco 444 AC/DC People's set and Philco 333 Battery People's Set. Two speed tuning drive. Provision is made for connection to a gramophone pick-up, an external 2 - 3 ohm PM loudspeaker and to a Philco All-Wave Noise Reducing aerial. 

    A similar chassis is fitted to the Philco Baby Grand A537 BG, Philco Concert Grand A537 CG and Philco Radiogram A537 RG
